Last Chance products - retiring products from the Spring/Summer and Annual catalogues -While stocks last!

Hello everyone

Its that time of year when we start to look forward to a new Annual Catalogue.

Before the new catalogue comes, though, current products are now 'Whilst stocks last'.   From experience, once goodies get on the last-chance list... they get snapped up.

Last-Chance Products

So, if you have been 'uummng and aaahing' over something, do get it now - cos once they are gone, that's it - gone!

Would you like to see more.... click below to see everything that is retiring

Retiring stamps*
Retiring bundles
Other goodies

*please note.... We are saying cheerio to the older clear mount and wood mount stamps, so some stamp marked as retiring will actually be carrying over, but will be in the new cling mount format.

Sad to see Retiring

Here are some goodies I am so sad to see leaving:

Bundles

Some products are available as bundles in the current catalogues, so you can buy them together and earn 10% discount.  Please note that Bundles will not carry over, so if the products carry over,  you will only be able to buy each product individually... so again, get it now and save 10%

Here are some bundles that I bought and love

Happy Shopping!

On Stage April 2019 swaps

Hello everyone

By the time you see this I shall be away in Telford, at On Stage.

In case you don't know, one of the perks we get when joining Stampin' Up! is that we can attend one of the bi-annual conferences they hold.  At these events we get spoiled rotten... we always get a lovely bag with a brand new stamp set plus there is usually a notebook and pen, plus other bits too.
We get a lovely picnic lunch, we get to see the new products that will be in the new catalogue and during the day we have a crafting session... can you imagine what its like when there are over 500 crafting together..... wonderful crafting mayhem!!  Ooo and during the day we win another stamp set and usually get another one too..... I cannot say how much fun it all is... tiring... but a very happy sort of tired, if you know what I mean.

As well as all this, lots of us make little gifts and we swap them with other demonstrators that are there...  its a fab way to meet up with old friends and make new ones too.

Here is my swap for this On Stage.... don't they look cute... I hope everyone likes them, they hold a small fruit lolly.

If you fancy having a go at making one, here is how to do it

Cut some designer series paper to 3" x 5" (I used Needlepoint Nook designer series paper)
on short side, score at 1" and 2"
on long side, score at 1 1/2", 3" and 4 1/2"
on long side, mark at 3/4", 2 1/4" and 3 3/4"

It looks like this:

On long side, cut along score lines to the horizonal score line, then cut each flap to make a point at half way point and cut off the little rectangle at the end.  Fold on all the score lines.  As I was putting a lolly in each of mine, I punched a small hole in the middle of one of the score lines.

Fold together and glue (don't forget to fill first though), then attach a punched out butterfly on visible lollystick and decorate. I also attached a little description of what I used to make them on the bottom, but you don't have to do that.

Look here they are (45 of them!)  all ready to be 'swapped'

Curlywurly bunnies

Hello everyone

Do you like Curlywurly's  -  me  - I love them!

I also like being able to make them into something to give as gifts.

How about these?

Isn't it cute!!

They are quite simple to make so here's how,  in case you would like to have a go

The tube is made from a piece of Whisper White sized at 4 x 8 1/4" (A4 short side)
score at 1" and 2  3/4".  Fold and glue to make flat tube.  Staple at one edge.

Ears = Punch or die cut 2 white ovals and 2 smaller pink ovals
Feet = punch or die cut 2 white ovals, 2  x 1/2" circles, 3 teeny little hearts
Face = punch or die cut 1 pink heart and 1 black heart, 4 peices of twine, I wrapped round 3 fingers and chopped each end.
Eyes = 2 Balmy Blue 1/4" circles

Pull tab = Circle tab punch Whisper White
Pull card = strip of card  1 1/4" x 11 6/9" (A4 long side).  Score at 1 1/2" fold and burnish well. (I used Granny Apply Green).  Attach the pull tab to the top (unfolded edge) wrap this peice of card around Curlywurly and feed folded end first into tube

Hope you enjoy making these

In case you would like some supplies to make these, here are some of the goodies I used.  (note the heart I used for the nose and mouth is a retired punch, but you could use a punch you have in your stash, or a die

Stamp 'n Sip at Four and Twenty Blackbirds cafe last Saturday

Hello everyone

At the weekend, we were at the Four and Twenty Blackbirds cafe in Barnstaple for Stamp 'n Sip. It's a lovely cafe, where everything is made on site... yesterday I had Butternut Squash and Vanilla soup with toasted granary bread... that was a first time for me and I must say it was yummy!!

The first card we made used the Beautiful You stamp set from the Annual catalogue.

This elegant lady was stamped twice, with Memento Black ink, once on some Designer Series Paper and again onto a Whisper White stitched oval shape.
The image on the Designer Series Paper was then cut up so that the dress and the hat could be 'paper pieced' to the other image.

Hey presto!  she is now wearing a matching dress and hat ensemble.

The base card was embossed with the Subtles dynamic embossing folder and the peice of Blushing Bride was embossed using the Country Florals dynamic embossing folder.
The other stamping was done with Blushing Bride ink.

Here are the ladies with their cards, brilliant!

As always when we are at the cafe we are treated to home made cake with our tea/coffee.  This weeks cake was made by Antia and was a Rhubarb and ginger Victoria Sponge - oooooh it was am-a-zing!!!

The second card was made using the Love What You do stamp set, also from the Annual cataligue.

The large flower was stamped in Garden Green then colour (Daffodil Delight) was added using a small fill in shape.   As this was not big enough to fill in the flower head completely we stamped it again to fill in the rest of the flower - without re-inking -  so this gives a pretty two-shade effect.

Again here are the ladies with their cards... so now we all gave a lovely card to give to someone to say Thank You.

Well, that's all folks!......as said a certain cartoon character -  sorry showing my age there ))

Thank you to the ladies for coming along and for Tom and Antia for their hospitality.

Happy Crafting!
