Today I am making a card using two stamp sets:  The Perfectly Plaid set from the Autumn/Winter card and the Waterfront stamp set from the Annual catalogue.

To make this 5 7/8" x 5 7/8" card I used:
Whisper White card:  folded and cut to make card base, 5 3/4"  x 5 3/4", peices to stamp and punch a tree and stamp and punch sentiment
Perfectly Plaid Designer series paper: 5 3/4" x 1"

Here is how I made this card

Join and get a new Trimmer and a some brand new products early

Hello everyone

Have you thought about joining but not done it yet?  Well here's something that may help you go for it!

When you join, as well as earning discount on all your purchases, we demonstrators also get to hear about and purchase new products early.

As of 1 October the Early Release of the brand new TRIMMER to demonstrators started.  Yay!
Mine is on order and I am so looking forward to receiving it.
Believe it or not, it's cheaper than the old one at just £23  and has packs of 4 cutting blades that are available separately.

As you can see from the photos below, it looks similar to our old retired one, but it’s so so much better – bigger base plate, longer extension, both imperial and metric measurements. Oh and the blades? Not made by a manufacturer who didn’t step up to our very exacting standards… this one WILL meet our criteria of the best!

That's not all -  in addition to the Trimmer, the pre order of a beautiful Limited Edition BUNDLE has been launched. Now don’t panic, this will be available on general release on 1st of November, but again, demonstrators get to shop and buy it all now!

So,  you could add add the price of the entire Christmastime Is Here Bundle AND a  Trimmer together - that would be a total of £126.50 -  and only pay £99!!   So you can get a chunk of it free - bargain!!
  • Trimmer –  (item: 152392); £23.00
Christmas is here bundle:
  • 153947 CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SUITE BUNDLE*  £103.50
Individual items:
  • 152156 GOLD 1/4″ (6.4 MM) SHIMMER RIBBON  £6.50
  • 152155 GOLD GLITTER ENAMEL DOTS  £7.50
  • 152154 CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER £13.00
  • 152159 CHARMING ROSE BRACELET £20.00
  • 152144 ROSES DIES £28.00
  • 152431 CHRISTMAS ROSE STAMP SET*  £35.00
  • 153944 CHRISTMAS ROSE BUNDLE*  £56.50
Does this persuade you?

Stampin' Up! Joy of Giving Tag kit and more

Hello everyone

Today I want to show you the Joy of Giving Tag kit.  I prepared this kit ready for my recent Catalogue Launch Party and it was really enjoyable.

I sat and made it over a couple of evenings whilst watching tv.

With this kit you will make 30 Tags and it comes in a lovely box, that could make great gift packaging.

Here's a Stampin' Up! video showing how to make up the kit.
Sit and watch

However, after I had finished making the kit, there were lots of bits left over, so I thought I would see if I could extend its use, so I made some more tags and some matching wrapping paper.

Take a look at the video below, because  I show you how I did this too.

Thank you for visiting today.

My new journaling Bible - Psalm 23

Hello everyone

Do you have a bucket list of things you would like to do before you get too old?

I do, most of them are just pipe dreams.

One of the things on my list is to read my Bible from cover to cover. Eeeek!!

Its a truly daunting task but now I have something that I think is going to make this aim more acheivable and more fun.

I have treated myself to a journaling Bible... I spotted it at a Craft Fair recently and had to have it.

If you've never seen one.. they are Bibles that come with pages that you can add journaling to, you can add designs of your own and there are pages that have designs on them that you colour in, perfect for when inspiration is needed.

I am so excited and cannot wait to see what I am going to be led to add, I know I am not doing this on my own.

Whenever I pick up a Bible, if I am not looking for something particular, my first port of call is Psalm 23 - The Lord's my Shepherd... its been a favourite for a (very) long time.  I was taught this by my Grandpa and it was my school hymn and I still remember all the words.
The version of this Bible is a more modern translation.

Here is the page from my new Bible, isnt it fab.

Wow! What an experience!  Peace and quiet to hear and feel our Lord's presence.
(Except when I was singing my old school hymn - tune Crimmond ))
Here is what it looks like now

Not bad, methinks... I haven't coloured for ages and I must admit I was very nervous putting pen to paper.  I used my Stampin' Up! Stampin Write markers... they havent bled through, so am pleased as I have the full colour range at my disposal and I even added some Wink of Stella to add a bit of sparkle.

I am going to try watercolouring pencils and stamps.  I am, in case you don't know, a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and have heaps of crafting goodies that am itching to try in my Bible.

So, watch this space and see how I get on with my journey.

Thank you for visiting today.
Blessings to you
Wendy xx
